First Meeting

 What a fantastic first meeting for Newbury Men’s Shed!

Last night’s open meeting exceeded all expectations, with around 28 people attending—an amazing turnout for our very first get-together. Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made it such a welcoming and enjoyable evening.

It was genuinely inspiring to see a group of people—many meeting for the first time—come together so naturally, sharing stories, experiences, and plenty of conversation. That’s exactly what Men’s Sheds are all about.

We’d also like to say thank you to those who couldn’t make it this time—we hope to see you at a future meeting.

A special thanks goes to everyone who helped make the evening so valuable. It was great to have a town councillor with us, along with members from Tadley and Hungerford Men’s Sheds, and Thatcham Hackspace, all contributing to a really informative and supportive discussion.

In particular, thank you to Marco for speaking about Tadley Men’s Shed, and to Tony, Graham, Ian, Nick, Alan, and David for sharing your knowledge and insights—it was hugely appreciated.
